Trying to make out whos in the photo-looks like Neil Young and Bob Dylan in the front, but who is in the backround?Good eye LD - It is Bob Dylan and Neil Young in the front and that's Rick Danko in the background. The shot is from the SNACK Benefit concert on March 23, 1975 at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco for public school funding. Among the highlights that day was a blending together of a Young classic and a Dylan classic: Helpless/Knockin' On Heavens Door -- Neil Young, Bob Dylan and The Band |

Watching Nine Inch Nails' full set from Woodstock '94, they were amazing. By the time they played it had rained so much there was mud everywhere. right before they went onstage Trent Reznor was knocking all of his bandmates down into the mud-himself included-so that when they went onstage it looked like they had literally been dragged through the mud to get there. Highly entertaining for those fo you that may be interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mWWsJnUbIc Enjoy! |

Loved Kezar, Purple Cobra, used to go to the niners games w/ my Dad there in the 60s. By the time your Av's show had occured I was transplanted to Idaho. Must have been a strange show, normally the city would allow big shows like that to happen in the polo grounds of Golden Gate Park, but if this was a benefit, they probably couldn't have collected tickets or money as easily as it was at Kezar. The problem w/ Kezar was, there was no place to park. It was probably a nightmare for that show.
