Well, the price would be low - because the Rams won't want to pay much and the Vikes won't feel like they need to get a lot. This year, picks 3-6 all seem to have about the same value, so moving around within that group (from a pure supply-and-demand perspective) shouldn't cost much. But precedent may make the Vikings feel like they're supposed to get more than is reasonable, in which case it won't happen.
But I think the VIkings take Kalil. |

I've become a Rams fan over the past few years. I hope they don't trade up. They will get a good player at 6 and I don't want them to give up any of the picks they aquired. They need them. And I'm not totally sold on Blackmon being a superstar wr. Whichever player drops to them at 6 will fill a major need. With all of that being said I do feel like Blackmon will be there and they will take him and he will be a good if not great player.

I say the Rams need to either stand pat or trade the #6 pick to the Dolphins so they can be assured to get Tanhole. Then even at #8 the Rams will still get great value and pick up another pick or 2 from the Dolphins. That way the Rams could pass on Blackmon and if they really want to draft a WR they could still draft the kid from Notre Dame.

Well I really have no clue but I will use my process of ilimanation. I'm guessing one of these guys is T-hill and one is Barkley from next year. The other 3 are probably Luck, RG3 and Weeden. Or they Oswaler, Cusins and or Kellen Moore and guys in the middle of the draft rounds to proove that T-hill is equal to a mid round pick and not a top 10 first round. Well am i close?

I will tip my secret hat of my Packer knowledge....Packers will pick someone big in the 1st round. I don't mean tall so much as I mean close to 300 or over 300lbs....

also cant see the Rams moving up in the draft, but mocing down and grabbing floyd instead of taking blackmon at 6 is a possibility. who knows, maybe Tannehill goes at 6, to the team willing to deal up a few spots with the rams. that seems like a more reasonable landing spot for him than 3 or 4, even though he shouldnt be in the first round anyway.

The Bears have the 19th pick. Reports I've heard indicate that, while the Bears are happy with the 19th pick and have targeted 7 guys (as new GM Phil Emery has admitted), they also indicated that "some" teams have contacted them about trading into the 19th spot.
But that's all they've said. (That was Tuesday actually.) |

SmokingMonkey, that makes a lot of sence. I can see them getting someone to trade up and you're right they might be laughing there blanks off to the bank becuase they may value Floyd higher then blackmon any way.

NFL Draft Day is here
bringing with it the hope that these new draftees will bring our favorite teams a Super Bowl victory. Since I'm not making a guess at the whole first round, I figured I'd give at least one prediction about the most hyped up/talked about player in probably the whole draft who shouldn't even have his name mentioned among the rest of the first round picks: Sorry, Foot. The Dolphins don't grab Tannehill in the first round. In fact, I predict the Chiefs pass on him too. And as the slide continues, it turns into an avalanche as Tannehill does not get picked in the first round at all. Maybe the talking heads just like to gab too much. Project QB's are not 1st round picks. But look on the bright side, Foot. The Dolphins can trade up for him in the 2nd round on Friday. |

Wow! Bold prediction. Allthough as sad as it would be I am starting to think you might have a slim possibly of being right about the Dolphins passing on T-hill. It would be a foolish mistake to pass on this guy Duff, and Miami needs to take a risk on a QB. There is not a senario where i see him falling out of round one. I don't think he would get past KC as they would be all over him at their spot. ANd how about GB they would love a guy they could afford to let sit and watch Rodgers. Hey if he does fall by some gift from God and Miami gets him later it would be a bigger shocker than any I can rememmber in recent drafts. We'll see soon enough.
