Hoo and undue bring up some excellent points (as usual)...

if Zeller had left after this season, we take what we get and be happy with it...
I sure am glad he's sticking around though.

and IF EGor part deux chooses IU and outperformes his brother and bolts,
we; as IU fans should love every second of it.

I love having these types of problems once again as a Hoosier fan...
it's been a while Cool

thing is we already have a one and done talent commited in Trey Lyles Cool, i think crean knows the type of player that he wants and will go and get that player regardless of talent (i.e. Will Sheehey, Victor, and Remy)...

As Hooo said if that caliber of player pops up in state no way is crean going to pass him up, his goal is really to just lock down Indiana and keep destroying the coach up north in recruiting.. Indiana being so stacked with talent should mean IU should be stacked with talent as well!! Its only inevitable that Five Star one and done talent shall pop up in Indiana every few years, and i never see crean going out of his way, meaning goin out of state, to sign 5 one and dones

Kane, the UK fans have lost their collective minds on this whole thing...

they are pissed that IU has stood their ground, and they are pissed that IU stormed the court,
they are pissed because UK burned couches, they are pissed that the Brow wears diamond stud earrings,
they are pissed that "I'll have Another" won the Derby, they are pissed that an Escalade gets worse mileage than a Focus..
they are pissed that cousin-effing is a crime...

muther fracking son's of biatches are pissed that there was a super moon last night too...

They don't even have a venue to play neutral site games.  Lucas Oil just hosted the Super Bowl for Pete sake.  They want to split with Freedom Hall, freaking kidding me with that?

UK is afraid.  IU rising.  2012-13 is our year.  I am okay with playing them once in the tournament and beating them on our way to a championship.  The end.

Anybody else catch that the Tarheels are coming to Bloomington this up coming season?

well played, Coach...well played.

We don't need no stinking Wildcats (in my best Boris Badnoff voice)

Good pick up.  But personally, I'd much rather play Kentucky in their backyard this year opposed to UNC at home...both had been best case scenario.

No, you can think ND football if you'd like.  Oh wait, that makes my freaking stomach hurt watching turnover on top of turnover.

Cody is projected as next year's overall #1 pick, that is pretty cool.  Not sure if that has ever happened in IU basketball or not.  Dis, you want to research for me?

this discussion brings about a couple of different responses...

1st of all..according to wikipedia...Walt Bellamy and Kent Bensen were #1 overall draft picks...
I don't know if that is according to the gospel or not...

2nd of all...how certain is it that Cody will go pro after next season...didn't both of his brothers go 4 years at
Notre Dame and UNC???

damn it's hot...

He's a lot better than Luke and is better than Tyler.

Listen, I appreciate the sentiment...but I don't know if your evaluation is accurate or not...
Cody was the superstar on a team of 3-stars and lower...

his brothers were standouts that complimented OTHER 4 and 5 stars...so, I'm not so sure...

I would be surprised if he went pro after this upcoming season...I honestly would.

Luke Zeller is in the D-League.  Cody is certainly better than him.  You might be right about Tyler.  He wasn't relied on as much as Cody was.

Alas, RAIN! We hadn't had rain in my neck of the woods for a good 2-3 months and finally got some Sunday. Unfortunately, it came with some nasty ass 60 mph wind and knocked down some trees and power lines and tore part of a roof off a gas station, but at least the drought is over. Yay corn!

This may be the longest offseason of my life and it's only July. Eph.

Go Hoosiers!!!

P.S. Purdon't made a nice little trick shot video. My only question is where is DJ Jail Byrd's trick shot with a mug of beer in one hand and a bouncer in his mouth?
