SmokingMonkey I'll aslo add that I think Chris Johnson made it very hard on owners to hand over big contracts buy the way he performed after getting one. The way folded after landing a huge pay day destroyed the chances of guys like ray ray and forte of getting big deals at least for the next few years til it can or if it can swing back. I doubt Ray can get a big deal at this point unless Baltimore managment thinks Ray would be better than that.
I don't claim to be Mr. Phsychic, but honestly how many of us just "knew" CJ1K was gonna tank it last year with his crappy "I wanna get paid" attitude? Arian Foster just got paid and I have him first off my board with Ray Rice second. I would like Matt Forte alot more if not for the addition of Micheal Bush (that kinda threw up a red flag to me, not sure why as Forte didn't get too many GL looks anyway). I guess my point is I just don't see Rice as that kind of player to fold after landing a big contract and I feel the same about Forte as far as the getting paid part.

Sam, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Not sure how many times my Bears just could NOT punch it in in short yardage situations. Forte couldn't do it. The receivers certainly didn't go up and get the TD ball. It could have been an O-line issue? But after Cutler went down it became a bigger issue. I feel they brought in Michael Bush to be the goalline/short yardage back. And to spell Forte to give him a breather, especially with Marion Barber gone. Of course it's all speculation on my part, but I feel Forte is still "the man."

In the event that Forte holds out, at leats Bush can slide into the starter role. Which would be fantasy doom for Forte owners.

........and fantasy gold for Bush owners. If KBell can run with that line (around 250yds rush and 14rec for 100yds in 3 games), Id love to see Bush get a chance, not that I am wishing injury on Forte.

That's the second thing we have agreed on Foot unless I get killer value or the situation changes. As it is,smells like RBBC to me.....if you guys le me have Forte in the 3rd again this year, well I would probably draft him.
