Pretty cool what the Flyers have been doing to the Pens!
Good luck the rest of the way!

Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen.

Can't resist this oldie, which has had numerous cover versions

When I saw you walking down the street
I said, "that's the kind of girl I'd like to meet
She's so pretty, Lord, she's so fine
I'm gonna make her mine, all mine

HEY BABY - BRUCE CHANNEL  Originally written and released in 1962 where it hit #1 on the Billboard chart, the song is probably best remembered by the "younger generation" for it's use in the original version of DIRTY DANCING.

NEXT LYRICS: This artist/activist has been a hot topic on the political tv circuit lately for expressing his views, which I strongly disagree with but wholely endorse his right to express. This song is from his debut self titled album and is should instantly transport you back to the summer of 1975 and is the only song on that album that he didn't write.

_______tell me why you hangin 'round
Ain't got time for kissin I'm too busy messin in this town
All you pretty women, you're so far an' in between
I don't need no fancy types I need the ones that's clean

Hey Baby - Ted Nugent.

Gotta go back to a standard. The singer who has a very well known recording of this song is the father of a famous current artist.

----- You on that high flying cloud
Though she won't throw a crumb to you
You think some day she'll come to you

Hey There - Sammy Davis Jr.

Hey there, how about a theme change ?

Similiar to this theme,I suggest, songs with the word  "Yeah". Should be easy and plentiful.

___ _____ ___, yeah, yeah, yeah
And with a love like that
You know you should be glad.

Good idea slip.
She Loves You - The Beatles. The first sog that comes to mind dates back to around that time

Every evening, when I'll my day's work is through
I call may baby and ask her what should we do
I mention movies but she don't seem to dig that
And then ask me, why don't I come to her flat

NEXT LYRICS:  This song has absolutely no connection to the 1970s but given the current "theme" I just cannot pass up the chance to throw this one out there. (Actually, this is so blatantly premeditated that I can connect it to the 70s saying that throwing this song out reminds me of the scene with ROY SCHEIDER in JAWS throwing chum out into the water right before he sees the shark and says "We're gonna need a bigger boat!!)

If you could blow up the world
With the flick of a switch
Would you do it?
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah)
If you could make everybody poor
Just so you could be rich
Would you do it?
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah)

If you could watch everybody work
While you just lay on your back
Would you do it?
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah)
If you could take all the love
Without giving any back
Would you do it?
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah)
