Boston Celtics Fans Roll Call

When Miami goes big with Wade at point guard, Doc should counter and go small with Pierce at the 4 and Pietrus at the 3.  That unit could run with Miami.  Doc is one of the best in the league at adjustments and I expect to see a lot more zone in game 2.  Fact is, for much of the game we defended James/Wade well but their shots were falling.  I suspect they'll be in their comfort zone in game 2 and their lacks play will lead to a nailbiter in the early part of the 4th.  We should get about a 9-12 point win going home with confidence.  Once we taste that first win, its going to be tough to beat this Celtics team.  Hang in there, guys, we knew this wasn't going to be easy.  Word.

One thing for sure, these guys have heart.  They never quit.  So again guys, is it me or did steamer play well?  

If they go zone, do you use Hollins more? 

Last night's game was difficult to take, Logic.  There is just nothing you can do when the powers that be have Dwayne Wade and LeBron James under their wing.  Maybe the Boston crowd will shake some fear into the refs.  I hope we can get up for Friday's game because if we don't make this a series by Friday night, history says we're done.  I am also VERY proud of what this team is doing against all odds.  David Stern is some piece of work.  Word.

Pierce and Garnett are playing well also.  They just aren't allowed to defend James and Wade.  If you saw the game last night, I'm sure even you had to have seen the travesty.  What a POS.  Word.

I say, if they're gonna call BS fouls then when we foul we should foul HARD!  Earn them f'in calls!  I'm with Rondo - make those turds eat wood!  Hit the deck.  That way at least we know why we lost instead of letting the refs giftwrap the damn thing and let Miami open it up in front of the Celtics.  Look for a Big Boston Win tonight AND Sunday, boys.  Enjoy the games - Word.

i totally agree. if wade and can bend rondos elbow backwards last year and this year both wade and lebron have smacked rondo on the head...

Gotta love what Rondo is doing in the playoffs.  He is upping his game, and like Magic said, he can only recall two players who ever played better in a playoff game (well, Magic would also be that guy)

I cannot wait to see how Danny moves over the next two years. Who is the big star who wants to get fed by this kid and run the court with him.  damn

 

BTW, is it me or is Rondo's defense slacking off?

 

I dont like him scoring above 20.....its not to make a balanced team.  His passing and D always need to be prominent, as well as his play calling.

rondo has really started to gamble WAY to much on D. which is augmenting the loss of bradley who plays D with his feet. see the rejection on wade in the regular season

He is slacking.  But its because he needs to compensate for the energy he is spending on offense.  Doc has asked him to score more and so he is.  If we could get something, anything, out of Bass/Allen and the bench, we would be up 2-0 or at least tied 1-1 here.  Although we have lost Jeff Green, Chris Wilcox, Jermaine O'Neal and now Avery Bradley and even though we are playing with a banged up Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, I am also extremely PROUD of this team.  One of my very favorite editions of the Boston Celtics.  Word.

Agree Rock: Rondo set the bar, now PP and KG need to show their fans.why their "CELTICS", the games in boston, obviously determine the rest of the series. More than ever the Celts must bring forth their best efforts of the playoffs. GO BIG GREEN!!!

3 - 2 our way with a big closeout game coming in the Garden, Thursday.  I just love when all the prognosticators write our obituary before each contest and then have to eat their words after the game.  Absolutely loved Magic's apology and Stephen A. Smith's tirade after the game.  Does it get any better than this, boys?   ;^)>  Word.
