HAHA!  Not that the "bandwagon" argument is ever really effective, but the Ravens have been around for about 16 years now, right?  That's a pretty long time for most of us (burghball and lyman excluded).


What x's and o's?  Considering this is only about the Ravens and Steelers, you just implied that nobody should mention the most recent season even though you went back over 10 years.  What x's and o's are left?

If that is your argument then I rest my case. How about that ghost defensive holding call on that wonderfull interception Dilfer threw for a pick six. I haven't heard any Raven fans bring that up in the past decade.

No one in their right mind would ever claim the Ravens got any help in winning their Super Bowl.  Unlike the Steelers where SBXL was given to them in one of the most controversial games of all time, and there was a blantant hold right in front of the official that should have been called during Harrison's TD in SBXLIII.  That's 7 pts in a game decided by 4.  

Now on to Ben. The face of your franchise killed a kid? Ok maybe he didn't pull the trigger, but he was right there. Saw the kid die. Way to go Ray. People can say what they want about Ben. Nobody in Steeler land thinks he's a saint, but on draft day if they told me here's a QB that is a real di@k and likes banging college girls, but will win 2 (maybe more) Super Bowls I take him 10 times out of 10.

No one on our franchise killed anyone (and the victim in question wasn't a kid).  We know this b/c Ray Ray put the story and details out there for us to decide.  Pittsburgh fans were perfectly fine w/ Ben lawyering up and shutting up, instead of holding him up to telling what happened to prove his innocence in the court of public opinion.  Heck, he even settled in the Lake Tahoe case instead of clearing himself and that case was supposed to be clear cut.  Heck, I even defended him on it, until the 2nd case bruoght questions.



I'm not saying Flacco isn't a good QB. I think he is and will be resigned and give the Ravens a chance to win every year he is there. The guy is just soft though. He showed all the talk got to him.


Yeah, Flacco is soft.  He's only never missed a game (despite taking a lot of sacks) while being the winningest regular season QB during that time (while your QB seems to always have drama around some injury and wears 2 different colored shoes to say "hey, look at me, I'm hurt").    Yeah, Flacco really showed talk getting to him, when he drove all the way down the field in the final minutes of the game only to have Lee Evans drop a game winning TD.  


Raven fans love the drama side of football. Rapistberger. Steelers still haven't earned a ring yet. We understand it's all you have. That's why this thread has thrived. We don't care you went further in the playoffs and certainly don't care you swept us. In fact in all of our unearned SB years I have no idea who we swept or didn't sweep. Although I know Raven fans will never forget 2012. You guys should yap with Bengal fans. Our standards are championships.

Hey, our standard is championships too.  Which is why they won one in their first decade of existence instead of their 5th decade (cough Steelers cough).  Actually if you read through this thread (and the links), you'll see it's about Steelers fans care very much are ticked that the Ravens swept them, won the division, and made it further in the playoffs.  Now-a-days your standards are more of demanding bad bailout calls like when Torrey Smith beats a pass interfering Steelers DB for a game winning TD or demand the Steelers be allowed to give cheap hits, and then claiming they are being targeted when they don't get them - lol

Permalink button is about as much of a concern to me as signing OL and DBs that can play without grabbing their opponents is a concern to the Steelers - lol

I may not have included this one but found it funny that someone said we Ravens fans complained about the sked, then another agrees with them and starts to complain about the Steelers sked - lol. 

Another person suggested to someone to start a thread like this one and dedicate their entire life to it.  If you want to start one, you really don't need to dedicate that much time to it.  Complaining Steelers Fans 101 = if there is an NFL event (like the sked this week), complaints from Steelers fans will be low hanging fruit;)  Easily done in 15 to 20 mins a week:)

Article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette complaining about the owners not voting to make a horse collar tackle in the pocket a penalty and acting as if not posting it is comprimising player safety.  It was proposed by Art Rooney as well (probably b/c of the Ravens-Bengals game - lol):

MOST Ravens fans are respectful, but like any fan base, the chest pounding 25 year olds that know nothing have to be the loudest.

The Ravens won a Super Bowl 12 years ago, since then Squat. So talking about Championships and domination is just that, talk. Nobody cares who wins the Division as long as the playoff ticket gets punched. All 4 teams have improved, at least on paper, should be an exciting year.

A lot of this stupidity started with the Gatorade bath in Novemeber, when the Ravens swept the Steelers. Act like you've been there before.

It sounds like you are speaking from experience. It appears you recently went to prison and found out soap on a rope wasn't just a luxury, it's a necessity.

I could come back with the Ray Lewis Muder thing, but that has been beaten to death, sort of like Flacco's playoff stats. 

You mean Joe Flacco's playoff stats the past two years where he averages a 93 QB rating with 7 TDs vs 2 INTs. 


Maybe you think an elite QB would post a 75 average QB rating with 5 TDs and 5 INTs in the same 2 playoff years. 

If I were you, I'd be complaining about how Ozzie Newsome keeps trying to sell Joe Flacco as a starting NFL QB!  How many AFC Championships does one guy have to choke through before he is recognized as a failure?  Ask Donovan McNabb, I guess . . . . .
