Im all in and besides it's a bye week. From Tebow = Hypocrite.

Because his offensive line was holding the entire game, and not a single flag was thrown.  Apparently, unnecessary roughness and roughing the passer is legal as long as the person you're hitting is a Steeler. 

I swear they claim holding all the time b/c they see their team doing it and think it's legit (so the other team must be holding b/c they are doing something that looks different) - lol

I'm going to agree with rightwingcon here.  I don't really look at this thread much, but it's amazing that he has kept it alive this long.

I could agree with the "beating a dead horse" if this were on the Steelers board.  It would just be trolling there.  Since it's on the Ravens board though, I have no problem with it.  If we have steeler visitors, they can choose to look or not to look at his thread.  I look at this board as a place for Ravens fans to do and say what makes them happy.  Rightwingcon likes this, and he fits the fan description, so I say he should continue to have at it and not worry about the feelings of potential visitors who are fans of another team reading this board.

I agree with Ksig here.  If it was on the main boards or Steelers board, it would be overdone.  I also rarely come to this thread but I've already commended RWC on his dedication to this thread. 

Plus he'll never run out of content

1st of all, the refs blew the fumble by calling it an incomplete pass.  I don't care if they blew the whistle, if the Steelers would have won, it would have been tainted by that call.  Those guys are morons and are supposed to better than that (they're playoff refs).

2nd, if the other teams are holding as much as some of my colleagues say, then the Steelers need to start holding some guys too and push the issue.

Thanks for the support guys and it is really just something I like to have fun with.  I know it's been a year, so I don't expect having to come in and look for updates to be important to anyone.  I feel one thread on our own board doesn't bring harm to anyone. 

Thanks Steel Pumpkin and you are another one of those Steeler fans I've been able to have fun tossing a little banter back and forth with on here.

Just like the Ravens - Steelers in Pittsburgh, The Pats - Ravens (Brady flag wave game), and Steelers - Broncos the other night.  I don't see how anyone can see Walt Coleman or Ron Winter out there and expect the officiating to be good.  I just ask that it sucks both ways and doesn't impact the out come of the game:)

Sooo, let's see if I got this right. You're sayin' that the Steelers offensive line, which is one of the worse O-lines in the NFL, is even worse than their statistics say they are? You're suggesting that they're so bad they can't attain mere mediocraty despite the fact that they hold so much?
Wow, you'd think a team that has so much success choosing players in the draft at every other position, could draft a few that were better at blocking without resorting to Bill Bellecheat style tactics!

Actually it's not that uncommon that a bad O-line has to hold a lot to compensate.  It doesn't make them any less mediocre, it's part of their mediocrity.  Neverless, I'll usually see the Steelers holding as much or more than the opponents their playing and it's often the Steelers fans claiming the other team held Woodley and Harrison and that's what I was responding to. 

As far as drafting, have they really had that much success since Cowher left, or have they still won w/ his players?  Sure, they can draft LBs and they hit on Wallace, but their O-line and DBs aren't that good.  They weren't able to acquire a QB they trusted to start against Cleveland in order to rest your injured QB and last April's first rd pick (who should be an adequate starter when drafted from that position) was one of the players blamed as not being adequate back ups in the playoff loss to Denver.
