TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS: Southern AccentsReally good record, very underrated. Largely unknown tunes like "Spike","The Best of Everything" as well as the title track still find their way into Tom's set to this day. Interesting story from that period-when this album was being recorded, Tom was very unsatisfied with the results. So much so that he decided to get into a fight with a brick wall outside the studio, and ended up punching the wall with his right hand-and broke it in several places. Doc said Tom would never play guitar again, but needless to say that was not the case-those of you that know his personality know that he was not going to be denied.
