GEORGE JACKSON - BOB DYLAN

CLEAN, that is one of the greatest prison connections I could ever imagine!!!!!   I gotta post a whole verse.

Sent him off to prison
For a seventy-dollar robbery.
Closed the door behind him
And they threw away the key.
Lord, Lord, They cut George Jackson down.
Lord, Lord,
They laid him in the ground

NEXT LYRICS:  I've always loved this song from the first time I heard it. The artist reminds me of Dylan in many ways as well as having some shared history with him.

Clean,
To answer your question from another thread, yes, Springsteen was at Quicken Loans Arena last week.
It seats about 18,000 and sold out almost immediately.
Bruce has had a loyal, dedicated following in Cleveland since the early to mid 70s and he always pulls out a few special surprises at his concerts here.
And this year was better than ever!
Great to hear rarities like Youngstown and Because the Night but the highlight for me was the seldom heard "Light Of Day" which Bruce wrote back in the 80s for Joan Jett to sing in the movie of the same name starring her and Michael J. Fox about a rock band from Cleveland.
