I hate midget RB's...


I am partial to midget bowling myself.

Grabbing another Stefan Logan isn't really a bad thing. The guy did go to the Pro Bowl (or alternate?) and has the most return yards in a season over anyone on the Steelers. He can be a great return man, still too early for me.

after that pick, it's BEER O'CLOCK.

ESPN is showing highlights of Rainey.  He looks fast.


BTW he was arrested and kicked off the team for a few games at Florida. 

ESPN reporting that he lived with the Pouncey family in high school.

Rainy is the self proclaimed "fasted player in the draft," right? Guy that said he was going to run a 4.2 flat at the combine...

Not a BAD pick, but I really wanted 63 or a WR there.

He is very fast, and elusive.  But unless Todd Haley teaches the offense how to run a proper screen play he won't help the team much, IMO.  He would be great in many other offenses but I don't like the fit in Pittsburgh.

I think he's more a Dexter McCluster than anything. All these guys they compare to Sproles just...aren't.

Sproles is small, yes, but he's incredibly solid/built. Stong and tough for a short dude.

Rainey doesn't look like that to me. Same skill set, different breed. 

Think Rainey for ST - Return game - take that off of A.Brown and E.Sanders..  also - in the senior bowl they had him lined up at WR...

Tedy Bruschi just defended the Steelers. Mortensen went all the way back to Week 1 vs Ravens to describe the Steelers and Bruschi said, "Hold on now. This team was the #1 defense in football last year. They don't rebuild, they just reload. They will be a great defense." Mortensen, "Are you sure about that?" Bruschi, "Yeah I'm sure about that."

Think Rainey for ST - Return game - take that off of A.Brown and E.Sanders..  also - in the senior bowl they had him lined up at WR...

McCluster is a good comparison. As I said a month ago he's a luxury pick and I just looked again and this is the 5th round.

I care as much about Mortensen's opinion on the Steelers as I do James Harrison's opinion on presidential candidates.


Bruschi on the other hand is a guy who's football knowledge I can respect.

One of the reasons I like hearing Jerome talk football; opinions are always objective and he keeps his softspot for Pittsburgh out of the debate 90% of the time. 

And there goes Marvin Jones. I gave him to the Bengals in the 3rd round in Irish's Mock - little early obviously but this kid can play. He'll be better than Sanu.

Bengals having a phenomenal draft. They just took Iloka.

Bengals have had a great draft, two in a row now. By 2014 the Bengals will replace the Ravens as our top rival. Loving the Steelers draft though, looking forward to a good o-line again.
