BeoWulf great post and I wish you and the Red Sox a fine season, In fact i could agree with you if things go exactly as you posted. However being the sports Junkie I am lets look at a few possibilities that could also hurt the Red Sox season.
3-6 hitters Ortiz, Youkilis, Drew & Bay will be RBI City.
Youkilis and Bay will be solid contributors I will give you that, but you are looking at an Ortiz who battled injuries all through 08 and I know you dont beleive JD Drew will give you solid production all yr long, he is already taking time off for an in grown toe nail.
Lowell will be at the 7 spot, but if he's not healthy, they can move Youk to 3B
Agreed there and lets hope Lowell bounches back from Hip surgery but his best yrs are way behind him and Youk there from the get go with Tex manning first was what the Red Sox truly wanted.
I think Lowrie will have a breakout season this year; he's in the perfect ballpark for it!
I dont think Lowrie will beat out Lugo for the starting SS gig and will only be a utility Infielder, but you are correct it is a great park to hit in.

Haynesworth is testing the free agent venue. Wonder if there's a chance the Cowboys will throw something at him? Also, just wanted to say, please don't take away the bathing beauties. Sports and beautiful women tend to go hand in hand. One without the other would make things rather dull.
Lots of nice Avs...... which is all good. Enjoy them while they last, the days of the cute Avs on this website could soon be a thing of the past. Which if you think about it is pretty sad. Even more so when you look at some of the pictures CBS has posted on their SPIN link. It makes you wonder how a few small Avs can be deemed "offensive" by a small minority of puritanical zealots when CBS has a lot of similar pics just a few clicks away........

Good mornine to everyone on board today. It looks like Tyson Chandler won't be playing outside of the New Orleans Hornets franchise anytime soon, due to a failed physical. There is still a chance he could get traded during the offseason, though it be a case of financial reasons rather than "basketball" reasons to get rid of his contract.
The Bulls could dump Kirk Hinrich's salary to the Timberwolves today, so keep your eyes out for that trade today, as it may affect how the Bulls structure their organization and their players in the future.

Looks like a few more players had the franchise tag placed on them yesterday. LB Karlos Dansby (Cardinals), LB Terrell Suggs (Ravens), WR Antonio Bryant (Buccaneers), and RB Darren Sproles (Chargers). I'm sure there are a few more players that will also fall into this category by the end of the day.
I read on this site that Albert Haynesworth is the best DL player to hit free agency since Reggie White...any disputes? With the Broncos now $35 million under the cap, I hope they make a run at him.

OK guys, who's gonna spend about 25 hours in front of the TV over the next five or six days watching the combine? I'm asking because I'm hearing more and more people that seem to be irritated that the NFL makes as much out of the combine as they do.
Fortunately, I have to do it (I'm a huge football junkie and need to evaluate the performances for my website and radio appearances).
If the av format is changing on Monday, I can only imagine how Sunday will be on here.....
