The Miami Heat vs. the Orlando Magic game was cancelled because of slippery spots on the court. The stadium is home to the Tampa Bay Lightning. A lot of people say the condensation caused this----- their wrong.

What caused the cancellation was the cleaning crew putting the floor on the ice the wrong way. The game was a near 18,000 ticket sellout. Arena managers promised full refunds to the upset fans. ESPN televised the game and when the cancellelation was announced they had to keep NBA shootaround for 2 and a half hours.

Stan Van Gundy said that he was glad that the NBA took precautions and not take any risks with the players. He even said that he planned on maybe having a practice that night because his players were so ready for it.

Erik Spolestra commented too saying that his players were dissappointed that they couldn't play. Fans were of course more upset than anyone in the building.

J.J Redick (guard magic) said that when they were practicing the whole court was slippery and they had to go half speed or they would slip. When it came close to game time there was only a few spots that were still very slippery. Officials went to look at the spots and after a while announced no game.

Udonis Haslem was arrested  because he had 20 grams of marijuana in his 2008 Mercedes car. He got pulled over because he was speeding going 78mph in a 60mph zone.The veteran also had a passenger in the car who says the marijuana was his.

Haslem's attorney says that the marijuana was the passengers and that Haslem will be released with no charge. He also said that Haslem doesn't no how this happened.

If Haslem is convicted guilty he can serve up to five years in prison. Haslem just signed a five-year deal with the Heat where he took less money so he could stay with the Heat and play along with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh,and LeBron James.Haslem is the structure and heart of this team and would be a shame if this go's the wrong way for him. He has been with the team for 8 years.

There will be no more big recruits for the Miami Heat unless a trade. The Miami Heat have used their cap space to recruited top players Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh. The Heat have also recruited all around good players such as Mike Miller, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and Eddie House.

The Miami Heat had three draft picks (all in 2nd round) in which they selected Dexter Pittman, Jarvis Varnardo, and Desean Butler. The Heat are expected to sign all three of those picks.

Another big factor to the Heat's success this year was trading away Dequan Cook and Micheal Beasley. Dequan Cook was sent out to Denver for 3 million. Beasley was given to Minnesota for about 5.8 million. Together those to just got the Heat almost nine million dollars.

The Miami Heat's first meeting against the Cleveland Cavs is in Cleveland. The only thing that we know is it will be in Cavs territory and before Christmas possibly late November/early december.

The Miami Heat are the sure 2010 offseason champions do to their recruiting of wade,James,Bosh,Miller,House,Pittman,Butler,Varnardo,Ilgauskas.

The Heat are projected to go 72-10.
