Rewind to last summer where Dwyane Wade blamed part of the Heat's NBA Finals loss to the Mavericks on chemistry. He said, "One thing that Dallas beat us at – they had more chemistry than us. They had a game plan and we were still figuring ours out in our first year together."

Fast forward to this season where the transition alley oops are happening by the bunches and the Heat look as powerful as ever. LeBron James says the chemistry between him and Wade isn't just good, it's at a level it's never been before. Via the Sun Sentinel:
"It is at an all-time high right now, honestly," James said of the chemistry between the two. "It is just a chemistry that we have.  Last year was a blueprint for us.  It is not like we look for each other more than others, it kind of just happens.

"We're two of the fastest guys in the league when it comes to a break and it is kind of pick-your-poison with the defender, either allow me to get a dunk or allow D-Wade to get a dunk. We are two unselfish players. If a guy is open, we pass it."
That sound you just heard was 29 other teams shuddering slightly. If that's actually true and LeBron and Wade are figuring out how to play together and off each other -- whoa.

But the thing is, transition baskets and running is one thing. Executing down the stretch in the halfcourt of a close game is another thing. And I don't think Wade and LeBron or the Heat as a whole have figured that out at all. Take the most recent example Sunday against the Bulls. Miami won, but not because of the halfcourt offense in the fourth quarter. Had Derrick Rose made two free throws, we might all be sitting here saying "What's wrong with the Heat?" and LeBron might not be saying things like that.

I have no doubt the on-court chemistry between Wade and LeBron is great and they are willing to pass to each other. But that's not the secret key to making the Heat unstoppable. It's about incorporating that chemistry with the other three guys on the court with them. It's about playing off each other while playing with each other. The Heat look very good and with Chris Bosh playing exceedingly well along with the terrifying fast break Miami has, nobody is going to argue if you say they're the best in the league right now.

But it's one thing to feel your chemistry at its highest level in late January. It's another to feel it in the NBA Finals when you desperately need a basket.

LeBron: Chemistry is at "all-time high" with Wade

Boy oh boy, opinions dont differ more when it comes to Lebron James!!  Like Redwings, I have never been much of a Lebron fan.... however I have never been a Lebron hater either.  Cuz I aint no playa hata!!

Put it this way, if Lebron ended up on your team you probably wouldnt be mad about it.  Truth is, he is quite possibly one of the most well rounded players I've ever seen.  Every great player has had holes poked in his game by critics.  Bird was an arthritic white boy, and wasnt not considered athletic by typical standards.  But the guy could play and he made his teammates play better.  Same as Jordan and Magic Johnson.... These guys played tremendous basketball and elevated the play of their teammates!!

I think Lebron does the same thing, ring or no ring.  Now as far as his surrounding cast in Cleveland compared to Miami, its a no-brainer.  But Mo Williams,Antawn Jamison, Delonte West and even Varejao.... these guys are good basketball players period.  But Lebron made them a great team.  Noone wins that many games by happenstance!!

Point is, this guy has worked hard to be where he is, and in my opinion he deserves a championship and is certainly capable of winning one!!

All James has done is almost always have one of the best records in the regular season, then he goes out and chokes in the playoffs. Before last year, it was because of a lack of talent around him. Last year the excuse was a new team and not enough time to get use to each other. This season is a lot like last season, great record. But it will almost certainly end the same way, losing. He says the same things every year. "We're really coming together, or, there isn't a team that can stay with us". Until he proves it, he'll be just another basketball player that talks a good game, but never delivers.

So you're saying that Lebron James had a good surrounding cast in Cleveland to win a championship?  Really??  Are you new to NBA basketball?  Because if you honestly believe that any player in the history of the NBA would have done more for Cleveland then this guy did you're nuts.   Cleveland sucked badly before Lebron got there and sucked just as bad immediately after he left.  That tells you everything you need to know about Cleveland and the team he had there.   As for last year, the facts are the facts.  You can hate Lebron all you want but the bottom line is it takes time to gel when you make huge changes like the Heat did.  They faced a veteran Mavericks team in the playoffs that had been together for a while.  Dallas was a team capable and ready to win a championsip.

Don't worry, Lebron will win a championship.  Actually, Lebron will win more then 1 championship, just like he predicted when he left Cleveland for Miami.  And you know what else I believe?  I believe that deep inside even YOU know Lebron will win championships in Miami.   You just hate the guy so much you can't see straight... you can't be objective at all.

For the record I was never a Lebron James fan in my life.  I've been a Pistons fan for about 30 years, been through many ups and downs with the Pistons and considering James played in Cleveland and killed the Pistons I was never a big fan.  But I'm a realist,,, and I understand the game of basketball.

Barring any catestrophic injuries come playoff time, the Heat will be there again.  Don't be surprised if they win it all...

But we both know what you and other haters will say if the Heat become NBA champions this year.  You'll say the only reason Lebron won anything was because of ( insert one of many reasons here).    You'll never give him credit.....

...guy that uses a lot of cheap words.
With all of that said, it is clear to me (unfortunately) that the Heat are the team to beat this year.
They have the ability to defend better than they are right now - and will ramp that up for the playoffs.

Thank you Royce Young for using LeBron's words instead of making any commentary on the way they play - "the other 29 teams shuddering"???? Yeah, I'm sure Kobe and D-Rose were terrified by hearing those words.  Just like Dirk Nowitzki was terrified when Lebron said they would win 5, 6, 7 championships and they could suit up Pat Riley and still win.  Words are cheap.
For any AVERAGE observer, it is plain to see that they have good chemistry in many of their blowout wins
and especially in transition -  and considering this is their 2nd season together on the same professional team,
"all-time high" is a little misleading.
Remember, this is the same

Funny, I never pictured Wade and Lebron as a couple. Glad to hear their chemistry is growing. It is the foundation of a solid relationship!

The Heat are starting to look down right scary. I still think Lebron has a mental block down the stretch. The more he misses down the stretch the more doubt will creep into his mind. They may have to make Bosh the go to guy down the stretch...he's been money...we'll see...

wow..you obviously didnt watch the 4th quarter of the games in the finals last year..and you likely weren't paying attention when lebron gave up on his team in a pivotal game 5 for cleveland against boston in 2010..come up with all the stats you want for all the other times..but dude could not handle the pressure when his teams counted on him to take them over the hump..that's why they say stats are for losers...

LeBron: Chemistry is at "all-time high" with Wade

Number one learn how to spell LEBRONS NAME. Number 2 Lebron carried Miami against Chicago when Wade could not buy a basket. In fact Lebron lead Miami in points assist and rebounds and steals in the 1st 3 playoff series.  Dallas said there game plan was to stop Lebron and make the other heat players beat them. Lebron was double teamed for much of the 6 games. It was not Lebron that gave up a the 15 point lead that Miami had with 7 minutes left in the game when Dallas went on a 22-5 run to win by 2 points. Also in game 6 Miami only made 13-33 foul shots  and Wade only scored 17 points in that game. Also Lebron was guarding Terry and while Lebron was guarding Terry during the game Terry only scored 8.5 PPG per 36 minutes played. When Lebron was on the bench and Terry was on the court Terry averaged 19.5 PPG. In game 5 after Lebrons 8 point game Lebron had a triple double and Miami still lost.  Lebron ranks 5th  all time in PPG in the playoffs scoring 28.2 PPG, when you add in these other stats he is ranked number one as the best overall nba player in the playoffs. Lebron is averaging 7 assist a game and 8.4 rebounds a game and 1.6 steals a game for his career in the playoffs. Not even the great Jordon had these stats in his playoff career. So you saying Lebron chokes in the playoffs is a pure lie when in fact he has the best all around numbers any NBA player has ever had.
