Hey, hey, you, you, I can sell you a multi-million dollar mansion.
Platinum-selling singer/songwriter Avril Lavigne has reportedly agreed to sell her Bel Air mansion to Los Angeles Clippers All-Star point guard Chris Paul for $8.5 million.
TMZ.com has the details.
Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul is planning to stay in town a while because he's about to drop $8.5 million on a sick Bel Air mansion that he's buying from Avril Lavigne. Sources tell us Paul fell in love with the 12,184 square foot place, which Avril originally listed for $9.5 mil and decided he had to make a move.Paul married wife, Jada, back in September. The couple has a 2-year-old son.
The mansion -- located in a hoity-toity private community called Bel Air Crest -- includes 8 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, a wine cellar, 10-car garage, gym, sauna and a covered outdoor living room.
Paul was traded from the New Orleans Hornets to the Clippers during the December free agency period for a package that included Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and a first round draft pick. The trade gave the Clippers a pair of All-Stars in Paul and franchise forward Blake Griffin. Los Angeles is currently 8-4 on the season, good enough for first place in the Pacific Division and third overall in the West.
Basketball-Reference.com reports Paul's career NBA earnings top $43 million. ShamSports.com reports that Paul, 26, is on the books for $16.4 million in 2011-2012 and $17.78 million in 2012-2013.
Paul has been sidelined with a hamstring injury this week.
