Cousins: Don't listen to everything you hear

The Kings put out a statement on behalf of coach Paul Westphal that said DeMarcus Cousins demanded a trade and was suspended for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Reportedly, Cousins was heard shouting at Westphal after Friday's game, "Trade me!" in the hallway.

Cousins agent refuted that the Kings' release and said his client has not demanded a trade. And Cousins did the same Sunday night on Twitter.

Obviously something is going on. Cousins may not want you to believe what the Kings say or reporters report, but it's hard not to assume there's some serious fire with this smoke. There's too much of a history with Cousins to give himt the benefit of the doubt here.

Here we go again

He is not too talented to trade away ... no one is indispensable, in fact, anythng you get in return is better.

100% chance wherever he ends up (everywhere he ends up) ... he will be the problem.

Cousins is an idiot, but I don't know why every single NBA post has to have race brought into it. Irrelevant.

noodman stfu, theres no need to drop N-bombs.

The only reason they all go to big market teams is because the system allows them to.

Its a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible system.  &n

Happens all the time...Warriors, Kings, etc., etc...Spoiled Brat Millionaires to keep it clean things not going their way or listening to big brother and having a knee jerk reaction to try to obtain better. Part of the blame does need to go to the team for thinking they're going to change a player already knowing they are a dealing with a head case if they bring a particular player on board.

I disagree he could never play for the Celtics or Lakers for example, having some star power around him would keep that ego in check. With him allegedly demanding a trade, and having all these issues.. it only lowers his trade value. Someone is going to get him at a good price and will highly benefit from him... kind of like buying a stock low and watching it rise. Why don't postivite "tweets" ever get mentioned... not long before he posted the one mentioned in the article.. he said this :

Got out the shower and my mother was in tears on the corner of my bed ...she said she never thought that she would b living a dream the way she is and said she was so proud of me but not only for my success but the fact that I changed ppl lives and am a influence to ppl in positive way and at the end of the day that's all that really matters

I like to root for the underdog, not only in sports but in every facet of life. I hope he turn's thing's around.
