Curry tweaks ankle again, could sit Knicks game

That right ankle is becoming something of a bother for Stephen Curry.

After leading the Warriors with 21 points and 10 assists in a big win over the Bulls, Curry left the game midway through the fourth after tweaking his surgically repaired right ankle a second time in a week. He played Christmas Day after rolling it in Golden State's last preseason game, but probably won't be able to play against the Knicks Wednesday night.

It's frustrating for Curry that this ankle continues to be a problem. The roll Monday night looked to be very minor, but just that slight tweak was enough. More than likely the repaired ligaments are way tight so anything stretching them is painful. It might be best for Curry to just give it a little rest.

CSN Bay Area though reported after the game that Curry said he thought he could come back in the game, but coach Mark Jackson advised against it. Officially, Curry is listed as day to day.

This ankle is always going to be an issue, should have traded him for Paul when we had the chance.  Even if Paul walks after this year... Players come and go especially here, deep playoff run or championship banner lasts longer.
