Video: Justin Bieber crosses Steve Nash

Worlds are colliding here. It's Steve Nash versus Justin Bieber. Nash, the Bieber of the NBA with his cult-like following of NBA fanboys that fawn over his pure jumper and immaculate court vision. Bieber, the Nash of pop music with his flashy hits and cult-like following of teenage girls that fawn over his dance moves and baby face.

Nash and Bieber -- who has developed himself quite the baller reputation, especially with his MVP award from last year's Celebrity Game -- were playing in some celebrity pickup thing and while I'm sure Nash wasn't exactly giving it everything, Bieber gets him good with a crossover. That's not going to help Nash's reputation for being a soft defender.

This game was in preparation for a charity event taking place in Atlanta Sunday called the Ludaday Weekend Celebrity Basketball Game, hosted by rapper Ludacris. Kevin Durant is reportedly on Bieber's team with other stars like Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson and Chris Paul all partaking.

And of course, Nash. But he may not want any part of guarding Bieber after that. Let CP3 check him.

Superman that Layup

That was a clean "flailing like an infant" layup there at the end too. Too bad it went in or it would have been beautiful.

GRILLED CHEESE!

I think it's funny

To those who object to it being posted: you commented and clicked on the video.  That means that while your cyber-talk said you hated it, your cyber-walk and its fiduciary footprint said you love it.  The more clicks and comments it gets, the more things just like it will be shown.  So, really, those of you who hated it so much they just had to click and comment just made it look more desirable in the eyes of advertisers.

As for me, I like it.  Besides, I am guessing there are close to a thousand pieces here.  It's not like we aren't getting enough "real" news to "justify" putting something recreational and off-the-wall on the site once in awhile.  Ultimately, who cares about Oregon and LSU.  The much more interesting sidestory there is figuring out which school the NCAA will dig dirt up on first.  I am guessing that both schools end up vacating the season, thus rendering the game irrelevant.

Only an idiot would think that Justin Bieber can cross up Steve Nash. He let him do it.

Video: Justin Bieber crosses Steve Nash

How is it that on the opening weekend of college football, the day after a top 5 showdown that everyone was hyping as the next national championship and the day NFL rosters take shape, is this news?
HOW?
The fact that this was taken on a cell phone during some 4 man pick-up game should be enough to keep this story from ever having run. Does anyone honestly think that this is print worthy; Or that the the writer's boss wants to pay to have this story printed? This is a worthless story about a worthless video that happens to have an extremely misleading title. A five year old could have crossed Michael Jordan if he were playing that type of defense.
Why do they print this here? At the least this belongs on TMZ.

The hot clapping chick (Bieber's mom?) at the end automatically makes this more interesting than videos of LeBron getting "dunked on" AKA if he happens to be standing in the general vicinity of somebody dunking in a pick up game somewhere.
