Goodman-Drew, the rematch. It was supposed to be the most anticipated streetball game since the last most anticipated streetball game.

But it's not happening, according to th Drew League's Twitter account.

Drew kept our promise but Goodman League did not so as of right now there will NOT be a rematch game in LA. We have moved on so stay tune.

Dont worry we figured they was gonna flake out, we already have other things line up, i will keep you guys posted!

Not holding back on passing the buck there, eh Drew League? "It's not our fault! Blame the Goodman people!"

There was a lot of buzz that a rematch could be set for Sept. 15 in Los Angeles with maybe even Kobe Bryant joining the Drew for round two. But too bad for us, it's not going to happen, as of now at least. If you recall, the Goodman beat the Drew in Washington D.C. 135-134 but it came on a fairly controversial charge/block call on James Harden. Kevin Durant calmly sank two free throws to give the Goodman the win.

No word from the Goodman people though on it. I'm sure they'll have an explanation soon enough though.

Moved on though? I would assume that means the Drew is looking to book a different game. The Melo League team, perhaps? LeBron, Carmelo and CP3 versus the Drew guys, plus Kobe? That would be every bit as good as a Goodman rematch.

The Goodman's already moved ahead as it is looking to play at Rucker Park on Oct. 1.

I'd love to think this game got called off because it was looking like all the players would be in their NBA training camps, but that's just ridiculous, I know.
