Two NBA All-Star forwards are headed to court. And, no, we're not talking about Zach Randolph and the alleged case of the drug dealer beaten with billiard sticks

TVGuide.com reports that New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh will both appear on an upcoming basketball-themed episode of the network crime drama, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Anthony and fellow NBA star Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat will each make cameo appearances in the opening scene and the episode's climax. The episode, titled "Personal Fouls," focuses on a youth basketball coach (The Wonder Years' Dan Lauria) who is suspected of being a sexual predator.

Also appearing in the episode is True Blood and Necessary Roughness star Mehcad Brooks, who plays Prince Miller, a fictional basketball superstar who was once one of the suspected coaches' prodigies.
The site also notes that Anthony will appear as himself, meaning that he will likely be charged with robbing Knicks fans of their championship dreams by playing lackluster defense.

It's not yet clear what role Bosh will play, but if tearful courtroom testimony is required, and it often is on Law & Order, he was an excellent choice.

Reuters.com notes that the episode starring Anthony and Bosh will be the series' second of the season and is scheduled to air on NBC on Sept. 28 at 10 p.m.

Carmelo, Bosh to cameo on Law & Order SVU

Damn, Little ben.

You really carry that can of Hater-aide well into the offseason.

That was almost cute. But, in truth, not too bright at all. Understand the show and this would never have come up.

You are really confessing to your own nature by making Melo's (alleged) robbing of Knicks fans a SEX CRIME! L&O SVU.

Are you admitting that Melo punked you? In the old school sense.

And that is your idea. I'm sure other Knicks fans don't see it that way. They still have hope if a coach who stresses playing D comes to town.

Next time lighten up on the players and you don't have to cop a plea. Or is that cop a feel?
