Miami Heat All-Star forward LeBron James knocks a child over by dunking on him at a basketball camp. Posted by Ben Golliver.

Good news, Miami Heat fans: The passive LeBron James that you saw in the 2011 NBA Finals is gone! He's back to being his old "attack the basket" self. Well, as long as a child is the only thing standing between him and two points.

During a visit to a summer basketball camp this week -- apparently the Nothing But Net camp at Richard Stockton College -- James found himself in a competitive game of knockout. After bricking multiple uncontested 3-pointers in a row, James took things up a notch after chasing down a rebound, grabbing the ball at full speed and charging toward the hoop to dunk it.

The only problem? His young competitor -- who looks to be roughly middle school age -- was standing in the paint attempting a shot of his own. After completing his dunk in an attempt to knock the child out of the game, James went barrelling into the child, knocking him to the ground. The collision sparked laughter from those in attendance.

Here's video of the scene, uploaded to YouTube by user NeptuneGreat. Fast forward to the :35 second mark.

Not a big deal, LeBron could probably tone it down a notch or ten but they looked like they were having fun...the headline is like something you would read on a copy of the National Inquirer.

little ceasars: Aww you are still bitter about that shtkicking Lebron and company gave your team aren't you

Not at all. I never was bitter, just disappointed, but I got over that a long time ago and since then, one of my teams was winning a championship while Lebron was choking...again. Both were fun to watch, so I have nothing to be bitter about. Laughing

Non-Miami Fans: "Lebron knocks down a kid"

Miami Fans: "The kid flopped worse than Ginoblli"

Me: Kudos to the parents for getting their kid into contact sports.  The rest you you return to defending your basement via Medal of Honor.

I thought that was really cute.  I love playing tornado (at least thats we call the game they seem to be playing) and my kids or my nephew would love to get to play that with LeBron James.

Not true!  The reason why it was posted and talked about is because Lebron is a self loathing pathetic loser that will probably never win a championship.  Lebron has no right to be dunking period at the camp.  The bball camp is for children to practice their game and he's their to assist.  It looked like he was in line with all the kids practicing himself.  Don't get me wrong he needs the practice after that finals series!
