Good news, Miami Heat fans: The passive LeBron James that you saw in the 2011 NBA Finals is gone! He's back to being his old "attack the basket" self. Well, as long as a child is the only thing standing between him and two points.
During a visit to a summer basketball camp this week -- apparently the Nothing But Net camp at Richard Stockton College -- James found himself in a competitive game of knockout. After bricking multiple uncontested 3-pointers in a row, James took things up a notch after chasing down a rebound, grabbing the ball at full speed and charging toward the hoop to dunk it.
The only problem? His young competitor -- who looks to be roughly middle school age -- was standing in the paint attempting a shot of his own. After completing his dunk in an attempt to knock the child out of the game, James went barrelling into the child, knocking him to the ground. The collision sparked laughter from those in attendance.
Here's video of the scene, uploaded to YouTube by user NeptuneGreat. Fast forward to the :35 second mark.
