Some day LeBron will be the superstar/global icon/cultural phenomenon he seems to think he is. Well, maybe. Not happening any time soon, especially since his movie turn has been delayed.

In 2009, James was set to star in a movie called "Ballers" by Universal. Shooting was delayed because of the hoopla last summer. But in light of James failing to win the NBA title yet again, shooting has been delayed yet again. From Variety
The Miami Heat forward has been attached to star in Universal/Imagine's sports comedy "Ballers" since September 2009, and after an initial yearlong delay to accommodate his summer 2010 free agency, production was pushed to next month. However, in the wake of Miami's NBA Finals loss to the Dallas Mavericks, exec producer Michael Rosenberg told Variety that because the script is still being developed, "we are not shooting this summer."

Story follows five guys who attend the LeBron James Adult Basketball Camp in Las Vegas, but end up dragging the phenom into their myriad life issues.

At this point, I think the five guys might do a better job of teaching James about how to live his life...

Hey! That's how they should rewrite it! Five average guys teach LeBron James about how not to come off as an arrogant jerk. That would sell! This could work! Gold, Jerry! Gold!

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

Lebron will be a movie star like Shaq and MJ.  First lets get Lebron a couple of titles so he doesnt fall in the same list as Charles Barkley.

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

The Haters are actually mostly people who are passionate about the game of basketball and are standing up to the direction that Lebron is taking it in. (insert 1000 examples or arrogance, self absorbed, ignorant behavior here: begin each example with the name King James as royalty must be addressed in a certain manner)

Time for Lebron to go away for the summer. Go home and reflect on why the world you thought you had in the palm of your hands turned against you. Go home and work on your game. No press, no talk, no comments.. just fade away and come back more in shape, more skilled and with a 360 change in attitude. Then there might be a chance that someday you will be great.

This is Dirk's time. He has earned it. So stop talking about Lebron.

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

Maybe Lebron was right. The series is over and all the haters are still out there. Funny thing is from my personal experience, most haters are jealous people with low self esteem that in fact have boring lives. They would rather worry about people they dont even know personally over making their own lives more fulfilling. Kinda sad I think.

It's been changed to "Crybaby's." In the movie, Lebron's character(Lewhine Jameson) is an arrogant, selfish manchild. LeBron doesn't have even have to act. All he needs to do is show up and open his mouth.

Meanwhile Dirk is starring in a European movie called " I just kicked Lebron's Arse." In the movie an actor playing Lebron makes jokes, then chokes as Dirk rises to the challenge. Wow, art does imitate life.

Slight correction.

---Hmmm...that is funny becasue LeDung stopped shooting in the 4th qtr as well in the finals.  This movie has oscar written all over it. Especially when LeOverrated gets involved in the miserable lives of those who worship at the kings altar. What a joke

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

Yeah, can you imagine James teaching the 5 players about life lessons? That is pitiful.

Get out of the news LeBron. I am sick of seeing your ugly mug in the press - tired of watching a manchild thinking and acting like he understands life. I sometimes think you have been a bad influence on Wade aslo.
Get out of the news, live that "great life" you told us all about a few days ago.
Tired, tired, tired, as Chris Rock says.

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

One has to believe that, "because the script is still being developed", translates into, “not enough people like James right now to turn a profit”. The majority of sports fans are not willing to pay $12 to see someone of James' caliber star in a film. Now if you did a 30 for 30 (sorry for the ESPN reference) of last season starting in July 2010, now people would watch!

It's kind of a shame that James needs to learn such costly monetary lessons. Him and Wade walking out coughing to mock Norwitski is something one does in middle school or high school, and at that age, the appropriate age for such antics, they would have subsequently receive detention. Unfortunately or fortunate (depending on how you look at) for James, such "decisions" are going to cost him more than an hour of his free time after school.

A good idea for James' in the off season might be to take some college courses to gain a little perspective.

LeBron's movie shooting delayed again

Yeah I'm sure that will be a great movie... comparable to the "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" documentary which is rated 1.3/10 on IMDB.
