Lebron didnt have the decency to let the Mavs rape a team, like the nuggets raped the Knicks to give away Melo. NUggets went into the playoffs as a contender with essenitally 3/5th of the knicks starting lineup. I dont know, what u dont comprehend.

I understand why you say this kind of stuff to your friends while you're drinking at a bar, but for an organizations owner who had a HORRIBLE team this year, I really see no place for it. Get over it, you're team is the one that needs your attention. Secondly, I think its a disservice to the Mavs to send a congratulatory text and instead of just congratulating them, you make it about you and your hurt feelings. As for the last "No Shortcuts" thing...wellll I spose, but I wouldn't take it from a guy that drafted one of the greatest players in generations to get his team a ring. Isn't that a shortcut in some ways?If you're against shortcuts, draft a bunch of good players and build the best team, don't lay it all on one guy and ride him. It's a different situation but you can't tell me Gilbert didnt draft Lebron thinking they could win multiple rings fast...fact is, what the Heat did was not a shortcut. it was a smart move by three free agents who wanted to compete every year. They had every right to join up, were not rivals, in fact were friends and saw an opportunity that pretty much anyone in the NBA or in real life would take. Who doesn't want to succeed while working with people you like? Gilbert needs to get over his emotional loss and get back to his horrible team...he better not take any shortcuts by grabbing some awesome free agents though.

It has been said that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.  Well, Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is certainly acting like a scorned woman right now.  Last year, Gilbert was very upset that his star player dumped him, much like a guy dumping his girlfriend for a prettier woman with bigger boobs and a nicer butt.  And now that LeBron has tasted the bitterness of heartbreak once again, Dan Gilbert can't resist rubbing LeBron's nose in it, just like a jilted ex-girlfriend taking joy in seeing her former boyfriend being told "Sorry sweetie, but I need a real man to satisfy me, and you came up short".

I heard Dan Gilbert is going out to the club tonight.  He's going to perform the song "Lebron, how my ass taste?"

As a Cavs fan, I think it's about time Gilbert shut up about this crap.

This Dan Gilbert thinks he's some kind of great mentor or something?  Seriously, this is the guy who coudln't even keep a guy who practically a citizen of his own city, single handedly took the team to a finals series, and then has the nerve to point fingers about 'shortcuts'.  Maybe you should have done a better job helping Lechoke, Leclank, Lebrick, LeLol, whatever you want to call him, actually grow up to be a man instead of the little entitled kid that he is now.  You can't deify a child and expect them to act like an adult later in life...too much pressure is put on these guys and they have problems when they fail or when cruch time comes.  

Anyways, I'm personally glad that little punk D. Lame got his ass handed to him.  REVENGE BABY!!  OH IT IS SO SWEET!!! (yes, I know its childish but hey...I actually would have respected Wade if he would have earned his ring).

You have to understand that what Gilbert did, it was not for the organization, but for Lebron James. What James wanted, he got. Yet, he wasn't patient enough to to trust in Gilbert but left him like that in "The Decision."

Don't anyone criticize me that 7 years was enough waiting; look at what happened to Dirk and Kidd. Gilbert was write on the money: "there are no shortcuts."

Good thing the Cavs has pick 1 and 3 this year. Rebuilding starts now.
