Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade apparently mock Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki for being sick. Posted by Ben Golliver.

Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki impressed just about everyone with his Game 4 performance, scoring the game-deciding basket and 21 points and 11 rebounds to even the series, 2-2.

Among those apparently left unimpressed? Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

In the video below, shot by CBS Dallas, Wade and James are shown heading for the team bus after shootaround, laughing and covering their mouths with their shirts, as if to protect themselves from being sick.

Wade turns to James and says, "Did y'all hear me cough? Do you think I'm sick?"

Were they making light of all the headlines about Nowitzki's heroic performance or taking a shot at Nowitzki? I guess that's all a matter of perception, but the television broadcaster provides the Dallas perspective, saying, "Wade and James were mocking Dirk's sickness today."

Here's the video courtesy of YouTube user FrownsUpsideDown.

Get real, man. Every athlete alive mocks his opponent at one time or another.
Sure~ Someone tell Stevenson to get a wheelchair and pretend to have dislocated sholder while riding his wheelchair. That would be hilarious.

Or better yet, tell JET to bring three quarters and shout aloud "I DON'T HAVE A 4th QUARTER!"

"Every athlete alive mocks his opponent at one time or another."

Um, no. They don't. And if you really believe this, then you are probably just another furball coughed up by the modern NBA culture.

The NBA product blows.

Bitter about your Bulls losing to a mental midget?  Why don't you sound off about how a disgrace your Cubs are to the baseball world...all that history and nothing to show for it.

I don't think that dirk's cough is to serious, but what I do think is serious is how Wade walks with a limp and in pain. When a play on the floor doesn't go his way or he misses a shot, he walks back to the bench with a horrible limp. When something doesn't go his way he limps. He wants attention that there is something hurting, but then within a few seconds he jumps out of this world. Come on Wade, Stop your faking and act like an allstar, Not a baby crying after something doesn't go his way. Sometimes after a play, he barely makes it back to the bench, but once again goes out on the floor without pain. Growup Dwayne.  Your acting isn't convincing me that your hurt. You should go to acting school with your buddy Labron. Bunch of Morons to me

Life, Lebron and Legacy...

How do I describe how this helps build the legacies of Wade and Lebron...

Lets tell it like it is then...Lebron loves to tell us how he plans to win championships and build a "legacy" as big as the other legends of the sport. Honestly, Lebron, you do not have enough class to carry the gym bag for the team trainer let alone try to compare yourself with the Russells, Wests, Jabbars or Jordans of any era. Maybe at some point in your life you will come to the realization that it is not all about you, but I doubt it. Maybe at some point you will stop trying to take all the credit and put blame on other teammates or ownership for the failures on the court. You seem to have forgotten, that unfortunately for the egocentric world you dwell in, that basketball is a team sport and the "others" on the team in private most likely despise your constant media hawking and attention seeking endeavors...

For you Wade, if your going to now stoop to following in the footsteps of Lebron and start mocking others, then I suggest, you start getting ready for a few big men to smack you to the floor more often. Someday one of these role players may just decide to lay you out for celebrating your "legacies" before they have been written.

My hat is off to Mr. Chris Bosh so far...You have handled being the third wheel to these other young men with as much dignity as one could expect...Keep it classy and if you loose to the Mavericks, you make sure to shake the hands of your opponents and demand a rematch next year. I am sure Lebron and Wade will already be in the locker room putting their spin on how if we had played to our abilities or if the role players had done their part, they would be celebrating and not sulking...

Legacies are earned, not bought or given...Shut up and get to work and a decade from now, someone will tell you what they think of your legacy. Right now it rates somewhere between childish and prima donna...

Nuff Said...

LeBron James = Mental Midget...........his motto...when the going gets tough, disappear!   Someday people will realize he has zero mental fortitude.  At least Wade has a ring!  He can talk (a little bit).

Removing the emotion, THere's matbe 10% of the US population that would have James or Wade over for dinner. These guys are showing their true colors and are both desperate individuals looking to validate their decision to benfiet from sports vice help others in their mountain climbing. Hey Wade and James, get an executive coach vice a publicist to help you. As I ponder dissertation topics for for Doctorates you guys make great case studies. I wish you the best but you need some direction!

I'm in lock-step here. Wade doesn't deserve a championship and neither does James. These guys are products of the "all about me" society and I hope they get a clue ASAP. You have great Americans giving their live's for a pittence of the pay these clowns get...uncoscionable. Futher, to see these too where battle rattle and fight for the rights of a crack addict would be something more worthy than watching the NBA finals. These guys are not role models...
