The NBA has rescinded a technical foul on Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler after Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden flopped. Posted by Ben Golliver.

On Saturday night, Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden took a serious dive during Game 3 of the Western Conference finals, pretending to be elbowed in the face by Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler. On Sunday, ESPNDallas.com reported that the NBA league office stepped in to rescind the technical foul whistled on Chandler during the altercation, ruling that the play was "incidental and not unsportsmanlike."

With Dallas leading 64-44 in the third quarter and the Thunder desperate to get back in the game, Harden drove hard to the hoop and made a running layup. As he turned to run back on defense, he initiated contact with Chandler, who had collected the ball and was moving towards the baseline to inbound it. Chandler raised his arms while moving forward and, as he did so, Harden simulated taking an elbow to the face, collapsing to the court and writhing in pain in embarrassing fashion.

On Sunday, Chandler had the following to say to ESPNDallas.com: "It was not a vicious elbow. I did not throw an elbow. I was trying to take the ball out of bounds. He tried to initiate contact and did a good job of flopping."
Here's video of the altercation and Harden's flop.

Chandler also had a technical foul rescinded after Game 1 of the Western Conference finals after he mixed it up with Thunder center Kendrick Perkins.

Sorry, but I cant fix stupid.  If you cant figure out a simple comment on the area where sports are concerned then the rest of the internet will just have to live with your impotent ranting until your computer breaks, the internet shuts down or you just finally figure it out and go away.

CBASTIC, I didnt "go after" anyone, I stated ESPN's facts on Denvers sports teams becuse some whinny fan went after me.  Dont remind me of Denver sports greatness, I have a "memory".  OKC is the most improved team in the league over the last 3 years you baffoon, and they have lots of cap leeway to get better even yet.  Many of their players never put on a Sonic Uniform (KD/Collison,,,, look it up. I do enjoy my team, even more so when we play around 100 games a year ad in May and possibly June, this was fun a month ago, now your just boring, see you next year!!!!!

@routefndrlee - You clearly don't know a lot about writing.  Your spelling and grammar are atrocious.  When you wrote "many of their players never put on a Sonic Uniform" and then wrote "(KD/Collison,,,," immediately after, the idea you conveyed appeared be that KD/Collison are players who never put on a Sonic Uniform.

Also, you continue to talk about cap space.  The current CBA in the NBA is expiring.  The owners and players are preparing for a fight that could be as ugly as the current NFL labor battle.  You can't have any idea what the salary cap will look like under the new CBA, because no one does right now.

If I want an opinion about canvas covered wagons you will be the first person I'll ask, but your sports takes are in need of improvement.

Pay attention fool, I will type slowly for you so you can understand it better. I was saying that KD and Nick were the only two players to put on a Seattle jersey, get it?,?,? So by doing the simple math for you, all the other roster players/personnel/staff etc,, OKC did not inherit, (Presty and Bennett) traded, drafted and acquired the rest. We did inherit a team that in their last year in Seattle won a grand total of 20 games and then the first year in OKC won 23 games, not exactly inheriting greatness, but when Bennett and Presty took over they did start making the right moves to build a better team.  The people here didnt go out to steal the Sonics, we just wanted to have a team and we have the ability to build an entire city around them, and the expendable money and corporate backing to do so.  I would bet anything that the Hornets wished they would have stayed in OKC, their loss not ours.  The City of New Orleans, while a great City has just had too many other distractions and propblems, some of which they cant control and if their is a limited amount of money to be spent on going to sporting events in an area and they have and NFL and an NBA team,,,, the NFL is undefeated in that situation, they never lose.

Opinions are irrelevant when faced by the facts, CHOCO you are the one that is over matched here.  SCOREBOARD!

@routefndrlee - You're in over your head.  You still can't spell.  I think the words you were looking for are "whiny" and "buffoon".  You're facts are all wrong.  Kevin Durant certainly was drafted by the Sonics and he played a full season in Seattle before the team moved:

I'm also impressed with your extensive knowledge of the cap considering the NBA is due for a new collective bargaining agreement.

All that being said, there's nothing wrong with the Thunder.  They are building a contender and they are doing it the right way with young talent.  There are young teams in the west excited about filling the void left by aging Spurs, Maverick and Lakers teams.  It's entirely possible that teams like Memphis, OKC and Denver will actually have a chance to represent the West in future NBA Finals.  Then again the Lakers may just reload with insane talent like Dwight Howard and CP3 and the Spurs might pull more rabbits out of their hat and the West may continue to be dominated by just a few teams...

CHOCO,,,, its the Western Conference Finals, why are you still reading NBA boards???? shouldnt you be reading Rockies baseball or Broncos blogs for the last 3 weeks, I mean after all isnt that what Nuggets fans do in May every year, something other than NBA basketball????  You have no business here anymore, make yourself useful and work on how Von Miller will help the Broncos defense keep them from finishing 4-12 and last in the AFC West, like they did last year or if the Rockies will finish 3rd in the NL West again.  Hope you sporting year goes well, considering the Buffalo's playing so well (2-6 in the Big 12) and moving to the PAC 10 after being embarassed for so long in the Big 12, or the Avalanche coming off a season that had them finishing 2nd from last place in all of the NHL (thank god for Edmonton).  Speaking of research google Deshawn Stevenson and listen to ANY interview he has done EVER,,, then you decide if he is a thug, you will see.   Matter of fact, you should never speak again so I dont have to remind you of all these wonderful FACTS of life,,,,, run along now back to the kiddy pool.
@routefndrlee - Uh-oh!  are you banned from watching NBA basketball now that your team is eliminated too?  It's fascinating to see you defend Harden for such a bush league move and then turn around and snap on Cavs fans, rip on DeShawn Stevenson and try to shout me down for continuing to watch basketball.  I know you want to try and demonstrate some basic level of general sports knowledge which is why you went after the Broncos, the Rockies, the Buffs and the Avs, but they are all proud sports franchises in transition.  The Broncos have rings, the Buffs have won a national football championship, the Avs have multiple cups, the Rockies have a World Series trip in 2007, and the Nuggets got just as far as the Thunder when they took the Lakers to six games in the Western Conference Finals in 2008.  The Thunder have done what exactly in OKC?  Lost in the first round and won one game in this year's Conference Finals?  OKC inherited a nice group of young players from Seattle and your franchise hasn't had the adversity of trying to stay relevant and competitive for decades.  The Denver sports scene continues to thrive through all of their challenges and in spite of the incredible competition for fans' sports dollars in this town.  Have a little humility, enjoy your team, and don't focus so much on looking to attack everyone who disagrees with you.

I smell bitter Cavs fans with 2 lottery picks.  OKC will be ok, they will get older, wiser and tougher and so will Brooks.  Western Conference FInals with a bunch of 21 and 22 year olds, not to bad of a start.

The best part of this "LeConJamesLikeWrithing" was how his teammates fake-wanted-to-sell-this-bogus-act by hovering over and around him. What a bunch of drama queens and wusses! This is why they'll lose the next game to Dallas and go home and pack their bags for the summer and enjoy some well-deserved, luxuriant vacations. Despite obtaining the most-overrated recent piece-of-crap in Kendra-Woofing-Bark-is-worse-than-h

is-Bite Perkins, the OKC'ers lack toughness and would rather act and beg for the refs very sympathetic whistle while they parade to the foul line undeservedly. (By the way, why is Kendra Honey starting? Shouldn't he be the 12th man or on the fake IR?) Hopefully they'll learn their lessons and suck it up like men next year as they take another step toward an NBA crown. One mistake they can't take back but maybe they'll be able to compensate for Miss Perkins by finding a real tough guy. I know they are (or should be) regretting giving up Green (especially Green) and Kristic for the STATUE-formerly-known-as-kendrick-n

ow-known-as-kendra Jerkins. How so many people bought into this garbage about the Celtics demise because of losing this statue is incomprehensible to me for they had the best record in the East before this invisible man returned to their lineup. I still can't believe how so many people could buy into (& still do) this facade of a NBA player. The Celtics were showing signs of running out of gas with or without the ugliest-player-in-the-NBA toward the end of the season and didn't need the Heatles to convince anyone of that. I know you're probably wondering why I spent so much time on Kendra but I couldn't resist because wasn't he supposed to bring a certain swagger and a we-ain't-taking-no-mess approach? I'm surprised he didn't run over the the Lying HardHead and console him as they broke out into one Big Ol' Cry. And finally, I'm with Van Gundy on fining these fakin' FlOPPERS big time despite the stupid whinings of Mark Jackson the worst analyst and Giant Talking Head in the NBA. Why he Yaps & Garbles & Yelps so incessantly till I want to jump right through the TV screen, lassoo him, tape his mouth and give him 40 scathing lashes.

NBA rescinds Chandler technical after Harden flop

YOU ALL ARE CRAZY WATCHING ANY NBA GAME!  The NBA is the professional sports version of the WWE.  The Cavs won 2 picks in the top 4.
The lottery is an attempt to keep the game on the up an up (teams will lose on purpose).  Mavericks over the Heat in six games.  Pick any two of the big 3, will come to the finals with some type of injury.  David Stern cannot say why ONE official cheated? Who did he cheat with STERNO?
