Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo suffered a left arm injury against the Miami Heat in Game 3. Posted by EOB staff.

Update 10:11 p.m.: Rondo returned to the bench at the end of the third quarter, and appears to be trying to flex out his arm. Ken Berger of CBSsports.com reports that Rondo dislocated his elbow, but it was popped in. He wants to play. Which is a little insane and impressive.

In the third quarter of the Celtics' Game 3 vs. Miami, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo were tangled up on a possession. Rondo was half wrapped around Wade, and when Wade tripped/fell his arm wrapped around Rondo and carried him to the floor underneath him. Rondo attempted to catch himself with his right arm, and landed with full weight on the arm, which popped out in a manner that very much suggested a break, or at the very least a hyper-extended elbow. It was ugly.

Rondo was helped off the floor by Celtics' staff. We'll update with any information as it comes available.

Here's video of the incident.

Watch the ACTUAL fall. Wade is holing Rondo's jersey with his right hand, puts his left leg behind rondo, and just goes down, pulling Rondo down with him. What you said Rondo did is true, but that doesn't change the fact that Wade clearly tripped and pulled Rondo to the ground.

you're f*ckin stupid derrickmay8 watch the damn play. Rondo OBVIOUSLY tries to grab wade by the waste to pull him back so he couldnt get the ball. Not to mention Rondo's elbow was already up by wade's head. oh and im NOT a fan of either team. I hate them both.

All of you (virtually everyone) are straight up STUPID if you think what D-Wade did was dirty. I am NOT a Heat fan or Celtics fan....in fact i really hate both teams. If you dumba$$es actually watched the video it is OBVIOUS that Rondo grabs Wade first to pull him back so he could get to the bal first. Not to mention Rondo's right elbow was already up around Wade's face. Seriously people these days just have to find someone to blame. SH*T happens!

Wade clearly just stuck his leg out and pulled Rondo down on top of him. Now there was no malicious intend, but it was stupid and reckelss by wade, and he really should be suspended. And i'm a firm anti-Rondo guy. but that was just awful.

I hate both teams so as someone who has no ties to either Wade pulled Rondo down like a punk. Damn that had to hurt!

Rondo caught himself with his LEFT arm.  He returned with a sleeve and has played the 4th quarter essentially without using his left arm.

i doubt any injury was intended but that wasn't a basketball play he was injured on...hook, twist and trip with a pull when the ball is long gone created quite a series advantage

You are clearly a Dwyane Wade fanboy.
Wade pulled Rondo down maliciously.
Get a #$%&in' clue.
