Already Deron Williams has been shut down for New Jersey. Now Kris Humphries will sit the final few games as well.
"The heel is still a major issue in terms of running -- too much discomfort there," head coach Avery Johnson told the The Star-Ledger. "He's been getting treatment around the clock. This is a guy that's played with so many different ailments this year, but to close the chapter on his season, really good thoughts about his season and all that he accomplished on the court this year."
Of course Humphries is a free agent this summer and has already said he wants to remain with the Nets. He had a good year averaging 10 points and 10.4 rebounds a game.
